The narrator is excellent in this story. He even does the voices of several women. The author does an excellent job telling the story from multiple angles including psychological aspects. However, the author nearly ruins the entire story with the extremely long, overly detailed, and boring aspects of the trials. We don’t need to know who is smiling in the courtroom. it felt like several hours were devoted to courtroom drama word for word. I’ve noticed that even the excellent authors do this for some reason. I would rather hear more about anything such as the childhood of the characters etc..This book is definitely worth a listen. it clearly explains the dysfunction of groups; in this case it’s Mormons.
