What a fantastic human story. Seems like it’s a coming of age story of every character, no matter their age. There is magic or power in the story, but it’s just a characteristic, not main focus of the story. I like how the book is self contained, finished. No cliff hangers or sequels implied. Wrapped up beautifully.
