Zack is written as very unsympathetic, always being holier-than-thou, every other character seems to praise him without showing why he is praisworthy. He left his woman and daughter to fend for themselves while he goes hunting monstors as if he is the only one that can do that.

Zack has absolutly no empithy for anyone than himself, while pretending to be altrustic.
