When you finally got to the actual characters, they were creative enough to keep the interest of someone typically from their upper teens through their middle 20s however, the repetition between the books is difficult to get past. It’s the same story told from a couple different perspectives then it switches to a slightly different story with the same format of course. The story does draw you in enough that it’s hard to walk away from for some although my other half couldn’t really be interested in it the outside perspective of how someone might see human society was quite entertaining. It seems as though humans take things for granted in many ways, but this storyline highlights just how important actual communication can be between people.. fumbled communications can become really comical and I’ve not seen it laid out better than the way the storylines of each of these books goes. Some of the parts are hilarious, the romance scenes get really graphic. Definitely deserves an R rating if they ever make a series or a movie. But those scenes are fairly short and don’t take away from the storyline.
