The story is very good, though sometimes frustrating. Though Paradox grows in power and knowledge he doesn’t seem to grow as a person. The writing is good, but seems to be written by 2 people not one, or maybe the writing is learning (ai). I personally love math and enjoy how Paradox gets lost in his Tinker math. I like trying to follow along with it. Obviously I can see why some people would complain that it bogs the story down (as most people aren’t math nerds), but for me it is awesome.
I look forward to seeing if Paradox grows into a human with emotion enough to fall for one of his two teammates.
