Tom Abrahams is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors in the post apocalyptic genre and Kevin Pierce is one of the best, if not the best, narrator. I get a kick out of the tribute Tom Abrahams pays to Kevin Pierce in a couple of his books but a little bummed that Mr. Pierce died so early in the first book! lol
Kevin Pierce can make even a bad series more interesting. However, in the case of this series, as with other Tom Abrahams series, he turns a great set of books into an audio masterpiece. I like that the plot lines aren’t crazy unrealistic and that the heroes aren’t perfect. The dialog isn’t all cheesy and full of typical macho bravado but reflects how a real person would react. I haven’t finished the whole Scourge series yet, but so far, I’m hooked as much as I was with the Traveler series.
