The Performance by Chris Mayer was great. The writing was good. I just couldn’t connect to the main characters. Not sure where the disconnect was. Large cast of characters was a bit difficult to follow at times. Some nice plot turns, lyrical turns of phrase sprinkled throughout that fit with the pace.
