I found The End of All Things series by Mike Krause one of the best I’ve read in this genre, so I was really looking forward to Last Light. The disappointment is partly my own fault for not having looked at reviews closely enough to see what a big shift this series is into sci-fi horror. I might’ve liked it even though it wasn’t what I thought I was getting if scenes and dialogue weren’t so repetitive.
