I had this series on my TBR for way too long, & I am kicking myself for waiting as long as I did! I listened to the audio (chefs kiss!) while reading, & I ate this up!! Oliver Clarke & Stefanie Kay did a great job with this one! It is dual narration, but I feel like they each did a great job with both parts!
Gerard and Keira are chemistry personified from the get go! Keira is married to a sorry excuse for a man who is looking to do business with Gerard Sovereign (owner of the biggest/most powerful ranch around). And wouldn’t you know it, after meeting Kiera, that POS husband meets an untimely end due to an accident on the mountain. So sad.
This leads to Gerard pretty much moving Kiera into his house to protect her from her husband’s family (who also suck haha), annnnnd an arrangement is made!
This is a super high spice, bdsm, age gap cowboy romance that I devoured! While dark and twisted, I loved how Gerard loved his Redbird, and all the lengths he was willing to go to in able to have her and keep her safe!
If you love dark and cowboys, this one and the entire series are definitely for you!
