The Prepper series was great but by the end of the series there were enough loose ends to think the series was going to continue. That isn’t what happened.
I don’t know what Mr. Abrahams was thinking when he decided to start a new series bringing back characters from the Prepper books as well as new main characters. It took me awhile to even grasp what was happening, and I really couldn’t get into the book. About 3/4 the way through I started understanding more and started getting into the book. Then came the epilog… What!!! I have bought book two, and I hope it makes more sense than the first, but the way he ended book one isn’t giving me much confidence.
Tom Abrahams usually writes great stories that I throughly enjoy. This wasn’t one of them.
