I never read one of the books by this author before, but I suspect it will be my last. As biographies go, this one rather sucked. There wasn’t a whole lot about AP Hills youth, marriage, or some of the anecdotes that you would expect. Also, I’d really like to know who is the editor of these books. The author got dates and locations wrong, even going as far as to list the state of Kansas with the first seven states that left the union to form the confederacy. All in all, save your money or your credit.
