I really liked how the character development played a huge role throughout the book. You really get to know Spencer and Andrew. At first Spencer seems like this easygoing, happy go lucky guy but as the story progresses you realize his character has much more depth than what he initially portrays in the beginning. As for Andrew he has that sexy geeky thing going on, he’s incredibly talented but doesn’t see himself in the best light. As the two spend more time together the feelings begin to grow, this is where that typical romance angle is followed. The one thing I did like that differs slightly was how though Spencer’s job is unlimitedly to get the ex back there’s an emphasis on Spencer helping Andrew as well as his clients’ confidence back. It’s definitely a slow burn, the tension is there, not a spicy read but the story honestly didn’t really need it. The focus is really on the characters and the building of their relationship. Overall I enjoyed the book and would definitely recommend. I’ll probably ready the next book just to satisfy my readers curiosity but the series hasn’t completely stolen my interest to full-on continue.
