This was such a good book!! I cant wait for book 8 to come out. This series is getting so intense and serious i love it. This had vibes like KOA, it was packed with comedy, battles, war, and so many feels!
I cried on multiple occasions. Learning the back story of the authors of the cookbook was so cool. And then getting to see them back in the dungeon was so much fun. When Carl meets Tipid and Rosetta for the 1st time, also when Carl runs into Milk for the first time. Even the suicide mission of Volteeg was so impactful. Seeing Katya leave was hard too.
So much happens in this book. I think i have enjoyed the DCC books that are all cooperation between crawlers are the best. This is like book 5 but on steroids!
Jeff hays is such a good narrator. Makes all these characters and personalities come to life to tell this story. Such a enhanced audio experience!
Cant wait for the next book to come out.
