The first book in this series was better. This one, crap. Way WAY too much never ending banter between Finan and Washington. It just got tiring. Irish banter blah blah blah, black banter blah blah blah, more Irish banter blah blah, and so on and so on forever. Just absolute garbage. When proofing this didn’t the author have anyone read it to provide some feedback? Clearly not. I listened to the entire thing because I paid for it and I was hoping that all the main characters would get killed off to prevent another book based on these characters. Note to author….Learn when enough of a shtick is enough. Additionally, this book was just a the same scenario playing out over and over and over again…standoff with you guessed it more bantering. The plot? Still unsure. I never ever want to hear another Irish limerick in my life.
