The story became uninteresting and inconsistent. Too much plot armor. Forced emotional moments. What’s going on?
I can’t think of a single important moment in the story that wasn’t solved by some deus-ex-machina device/event/whatever. The author even went back in time to add things that weren’t necessary at all…
Anyway, that was frustrating… I really liked the story but lost all confidence.
