Listen dont go into this book expecting anything to deep. The characters and stories were designed to tell a fun adventure. Crystal while at times becomes a little annoying with how dumb she is potrayed still makes up for it with her charm, and amazing use of her abilities. I was worried it was going to get boring but no. The character uses her abilities in many unique ways which just paint an amazing picture in your head. Plus the origin chapters were the best parts of the book story wise.
