I’m not familiar with this author and bought this book on sale not expecting a lot (lots of urban supernatural books have been a let down lately). Happy to say I was wrong, this was an unexpectedly delightful and fun read. Having a vampire slayer with social anxiety who could calmly talk to a vampire, and a vampire that was bored with life but found delight in a slayer/human neighbor? It was hilarious and a ton of fun, kept me entertained the entire time. Both main characters and all the side characters were equally interesting and the story was interesting.
Highly recommended and I’ll be continuing with the series.
