Maddie is one of the most unlikable main characters in any book that I have read or listened to.
Switching from the behaviors of a spoiled 13 year old girl to acting like the equivalent of Gen Patton was bothersome at best.
Even though I needed to take a 2 book break from Maddie between books 5 & 6 the story and the action kept me listening.
