I really liked the Dark Road series and the continuation of the story in this new series is exciting. I like how the story kinda follows the trope of all the good guys having plot armor because sometimes you just want a happy ending. nowadays it seems like a lot of books (or at least ones I read) always kill off all the characters you like. I like a story where they can face hardship and just make it through. I can’t wait for the next book to come out!
