While the book started out good the last few chapters started to make me consider whether to continue with the series. The MCs started the whole should I try to not kill the human eating monster trope because they are sentient crap that I have come to hate in these type of books. If the next book is the same I will not continue the series because it make the character seem whiny when they are one of the weakest on the planet. If you don’t want to kill then pick up farming. It ridiculous to let a group of orcs go free when you find a bunch of cut up humans in the kitchen but you’ll slaughter all of a bandit group because of rape and murder without batting an eye.
