Dinniman is a whiz of a character author. I have loved every character- even the bad ones because they are so well written. Who doesn’t love a great villain?! But, he manages to take something abhorrent like the dungeon crawl and give you a work on the human condition. I’m in love- in love with Carl, in love with Donut, and left wanting more. Thank the overlords this is a series 🙏✨
