Ive enjoyed the book enough to continue on to the next book. The dialog is somewhat stilted, and the FMC tends to be a little bipolar and occasionally really stupid, but the story is compelling.
The VA does well with the FMC and the other female characters, but not the male characters. Some of the “men” speak so slowly I’ve had to increase the speed to 1.20! I have been able to get past it (mostly), but I can understand it being a deal breaker for some.
