There are several parts of this book that I found had promise to be interesting and entertaining. However, it really didn’t work for me. I found the story to have a lot of inconsistent character flaws. Abby’s character was all over the place in my opinion. Not to mention how flawed the storyline is for example: how easily she accepted that an alien warrior had crash landed on her mountain, that jewelry appeared on her body and was moving, that she was able to move a huge hunk of a man down a mountain and into a bed, that she went from an inexperienced pure young woman to being highly sexual (in a blink of a eye), then she just meets a group of women and suddenly their best friends and so forth.
While the story was a bit interesting at times, it just seemed to lack depth, any sense of reality to characters thoughts and actions and seemed very thrown together. I won’t be reading the rest of the series and won’t recommend it unless it is free to read.
