FINALLY – We got some resolution to some of the threads of this story and a few more breadcrumbs to follow. I feel like the author reached a much better balance in this book. Book one and (especially) two were SO heavy on the angst, they about sucked the soul out of me. Book three was better, and this one was a true pleasure. (Although, I had really reached my limit on Dayton and Rose ALMOST having “that” conversation only to be interrupted for the 183rd time…thank the gods we don’t have to endure that anymore!)

The female VA is still woefully inept at male voices, but seems less distracting overall. I don’t know if she’s getting better, or if I’m just building up a tolerance to her . The male VA continues to be awesome.
