When I started this book, I was skeptical that I would be able to “get into” a story told entirely correspondence. Was I wrong! Each character shines through his or her correspondence with our main character, and it is wonderful to watch her blossom over the course of the novel. In the audiobook, the character development is enhanced by the top notch narration. This was an excellent book — and it actually made me consider writing my own correspondence!
