The concept was amazing, a cross between Hunger Games, Running Man, Maze Runner, and every RPG game out there. They completely nailed it for anyone who is a gamer.
What completely turned me off was the language and adult content. It was not needed even in the slightest. With such a good concept, why does it have to be ruined with that crap? An occasional F-bomb is ok, but it got tiresome and used more often as the book progressed.
Very disappointing, I was really looking forward to seeing where the story would take me, but not going to happen. I hope Carl and Princess Donut slay it without me.
