This was such a wonderful read! Adair has started his PI company again. He has ‘underlings’ who are really his friends around him and a new situation to solve. We learned so much in this book about Adair and his past, but in a non-confrontatinal way and with humor and wit. It was such a joy to get to know these characters more and meet a new one. The author, again, does a wonderful job balancing the dark of the storyline with the lightness of the characters and their banter.
While the ending was satisfying in its own way, it absolutely leaves you wanting more of these characters, their stories, and this world. I can’t wait to see what Adair and company get up to in the future.
