Not the best I’ve ever read of this genre, not even in my top five. Its starts out with a father son duo camping in the mountains.. who then leave the safety of the mountains after the attack for no reason. In almost every other dystopian novel I’ve read people head to the mountains for safety. It was weird to read this different take.
