the narration is good, and the story is interesting. what turned me off though is that, in the 2 books that I read, not a SINGLE female character had any motivation beyond “getting that man”. am the women were either window dressing for the male leads without any real personality, or their entire personally revolved around becoming attached to a man. I’ll be honest, I’ve no idea if this changes, nor do I want to find out.
