I particularly enjoyed Bobby adair’s ability to have hilarious wise cracks, comments, conversations and just funny moments that had me laughing out loud so much of the book, but unlike a lot of books, these funny moments did not ruin or overtake the sad, serious reality of losing the people and what you love most. this book had such a mix of incredibly well written emotions that surprisingly did not contrast. even though this series was 10 books long, i blew through them because of how well don’t they are. it was so sad for it to finally be over, I was so attached to the beloved main characters. getting to see Murphy and zed’s relationship is incredible and seeing them support eachother and poke fun is heart warming. sometimes hilarious! I wouldn’t recommend listening to this with younger children, a lot of language, and references. check this out if you love nonstop action, problem solving after problem solving in a post apocalyptic environment. violence and lots of laughs. if you commit, you’ll be sad to see it finished.
