The protagonist, a one dimensional goody two shoes with absolutely no faults, breezes from one accomplishment to another. On the post grad fast track already but complete 2 years in one? While also being an adjunct? Done! While writing brilliant and lucrative software? Done! Course record for running? Done! Fixed robots that no one else could figure out? You get the picture.

Jack is insufferable. As a good capitalist he’s always looking for a money making angle. Adults love him (except the ones who stupidly underestimate him). For some reason he (or someone else) always seems to want to get HR involved – not great when you read to escape.

Also – Jack is always up for firing people for making mistakes instead of seeing them as learning opportunities and often behaves like a complete douche – “out of my way little security guard or leave my company “.

Not recommended.

Performance felt a bit flat but I blame the material.
