Struggling to get through this one, just to end in disappointment. A lot of battlements and such that were hard to follow. Just when I started to get semi-clear on what was going on, the ending had no resolution…a weak cliff hanger with the sole intention to cause you to want purchase the next book. I have read many a series, but there was a resolution of the story line, and it made you want to read the next one in the series.
~Character development was probably this book’s best feature.
~The plot had promise, but I don’t like feeling like the ending was poorly done.
~Written in a sarcastic tone with the main character being terribly demeaning to those around him. That got old quick, but continued throughout, with no lessening.
No thanks. I’ll pass, and try another author.
