Absolutely incredible! This book checked all my boxes in a serious way! I listen to A LOT of books ( have 900+ in my library ) and I can say 100% this book was like nothing I have ever seen before. Totally unique original and unexpected! I couldn’t have even begun to guess anything about that plot! If your like me and like your romances dark- like you choose books based on trigger warnings and how outraged and offended the reviews are- well this is possibley the first book that actually scratched that itch for me! So hot omg like SOOOO FREAKIN HOT! If non con gets you going.. Well go no further! This is the book you want!
I did feel like I still had some questions at the end and that left me somewhat unsatisfied. Hard to say if you can count the ending as a HEA either.. Its definitely not a traditional one. As much as I could have wished for a better HEA the ending did suit the story.. Even if I’m frustrated. Hot damn but that was a good book! I especially liked the dual perspective ( and dual narration) . More than worth a credit! Instant new favorite, I will definitely be listening to this book again.. and again in the future!
