I loved The Corresponent, Sybil. She reminds me so much of my own mother and her affinity with written communication. The story of her life, which has many layers, is carefully, thoughtfully revealed to us by the author. I couldn’t wait to get back to Sybil’s story each day.
Additionally, the performance, with multiple actors, some playing multiple parts, was simply riveting. I highly recommend listening to this book. And don’t be surprised if you feel an overwhelming nostalgia for written correspondence.
