I was in love with the first book, and devoured it in rekord time (for me). The second book did not disappoint either. It’s odd, how the concept of a gameshow apocalypse can be this fun and engagin, not the dark and depressed way. I actually thought about this… I almost can kind of understand the denizens of the universe, keeping the dungeon crawl tradition alive, as it offers such a unique and diverse experience. Yes, it’s inhumane, yet I could not put the book down, which is definitely to the credit of Mr. Dinniman and Mr. Hays. I have already purchased the next (season) book, I just can’t stop listening to it!
