I have enjoyed all of the Dungeon Crawler Carl series so far (I have not finished all books available in the series yet), and this is my favorite so far! I can’t wait to see where the story goes! Unlike most of the action series I’ve read / listened to, all parts of the story in one book have a role to play in the next book, as opposed to an overarching arc that is hinted at in the first book and finished in the eighth. I applaud the intricacy of this story. Matt Dinniman has masterfully woven simplicity and complexity, humor and gravity, and satire and philosophy into an addicting puzzle that you will simultaneously yearn to complete and dread placing the last piece. Thank you, Matt, for all the work you’re putting into sharing your universe with us and thank you Sound Booth Theater and Jeff Hays for the astounding job you all have done of bringing Carl, Princess Doughnut the Queen Anne Chunk and the rest of the Dungeon Crawler universe to bloom in our minds! Keep it coming, please!
