It was so idiotic and nonsensical to make Tyron literally being sexually groomed as part of the side story. Apparently even an average 12 yr old has more common sense and knowledge then Tyron when it comes to sex. And he has no issues going along with whatever. It was disgusting. It’s wonder how it would have received if MC was woman and the creepy perv was a guy.
And Izbeth is still annoying and entitled. She is such a flat, self-righteous character. Like the idea of a person, not a real one. Her whole existence has always been an excuse to direct the MC and he is just made to be affected.

Why doesn’t he hold the vampires accountable for what they did to Dove? He pretty much rewards them for it and admonishes Dove for being pissed. He could have blown off their request to be exclusive. Especially after the crap they pulled with the book they gave him. He also just shares all his secrets when she comes by.
