I do not normally enjoy the letter format in a novel, and early on I was checking to see how much further I had to go to finish. But then the magic happened, and I was ensnared by the beauty of the relationships depicted via the letters. Having lost a child at a young age, and now being estranged from my other child, I so related to the pain and the confusion, and the strength, of our narrator.
An absolutely beautiful and inspirational book that will occupy my mind for a long time.
