I happily whispered “What the F@(#” to my self a few times while reading this. As always, Bentley Little shows his mastery at creating unique horror filled situations. With that said, as I continue to read more of his work, I can’t help but feel they essentially repeat the same basic main characters & basic form of progression of events… not unlike a lot of the work of Koontz & his character & plot recycling. As such, some of the early seeming almost randomness felt refreshing… Still absolutely worth the read every time.
