The story is well written, with witty and comical characters. The author does a good job of capturing the interest of the reader. That being said though, the male voice actor is truly AWFUL. His voice is nasally and sounds somehow dusty, with a weird pompous whine at the end of each phrase. The old dusty pompousness works VERY well for one of the male ghost characters, but ruins the other two. He makes a Roman soldier sound like a cross between Dracula and Super Mario Bros, his depiction of the female character contradicts the personality of the character, and makes her sound obnoxious and stereotypical to a nearly offensive level. The Female voice actor does an INCREDIBLE Job depicting ALL of the characters both male and female. I honestly would have preferred the entire book be narrated solely by the female voice performer. Over all I give it 4 stars because the Female performer and the Author are worth the drivel of the Male actor.
