Not sure what happened with Joshua Dalzelle, but this book was so very different from the rest of the series (which I really look forward to). But this was a completely different book than the rest – in the best possible way. This time, nothing expected happened. Every plot twist was brilliant and surprising. Every time I thought I knew what was coming next, I was wrong. In the past, the writing was enjoyably predictable – like an old friend. In this case, it was edge-of-my-seat awesome. Hoping this is a sign of things to come in the series. Well done, sir. Very well done.
