This was my first time reading/listening to a story told through letters. I was pleasantly surprised to have enjoyed this format. The performances, by the main character and by everyone, were very enjoyable! It was interesting to hear the story unfold with each letter. My brother died in 1955, he was 5 yrs old, I was not born yet… this story helped me understand my mother’s pain.
