I imagine that I will think about this book for a long time to come. Sybil is such a complicated, guarded, and lovable character. Learning about her life through her correspondence, and observing her evolution, was a joy. I loved getting to know all of the characters she wrote to and seeing her heart open through her connection to each of them.
