Much like the first book, this sequel was perfectly over the top and still a wonderful story to read. While there were indeed a few cringeworthy moments of lewdness, the majority are delightfully spicy and thematically appropriate.
The writing continues to be excellent, with tons of fun little quotes and homages to other literature and media that always elicit a chuckle. The plot progression and character development have similarly continued on an excellent path, with characters reacting how a real, sane, reasonable person would in the circumstances provided.
Truly, despite the outrageous antics and premise of the series, things are continuing to get heated up, and the cliffhanger ending leaves me craving more. I can’t wait for the next one.
