A story told through correspondence. I would never have thought this would make for an interesting book, but it worked brilliantly. The letter format, and the stories that intertwined throughout were beautiful and touched my heart. I laughed and cried and felt I was a part of Sybil’s world, experiencing her friendships, joys, and sorrows. I haven’t written a letter on paper in years, and I find myself wanting to pick up my pen again and send some “proper” letters. This book will stay with me. I’m glad I listened to it as opposed to reading it. The different readers and voices added so much and made it easier to follow. Thank you, Virginia Evans, and thank you all who were the readers.
