Absolutely Incredible!

My favorite entry in the series so far. The series really turned a corner here in terms of making everything feel truly high-stakes for Carl. The humorous elements are still present (mostly courtesy of the system AI), but they take a backseat to the action and tension. There are some satisfying resolutions to a few lingering plotlines from prior entries into the series, and we get some more hints at what’s happening in the universe outside the dungeon and what this is all building toward.
