This book was like listening to a long soap opera! It flips back and forth between the past and present and had you guessing what happened to these characters. There was so much back and forth between Maddon and Bianca over the years it was exhausting.
The story really had me questioning what was going on with Bianca. Does she have multiple personalities? Is she bipolar? Or is she the only sane one and everyone else is against her?! There were so many secrets and a lot of uncertainty, but the one thing that was always true was the love between Maddon and Bianca. These two were forbidden, but fate always brought them back together.
The narrators did a good job with the characters. I even cried a few times from the emotional parts they portrayed in the story. If you want a story full of drama, this one’s for you!
