I admit I was a little speculative before I started The Dark Road Series Collection Books 1-5, as I’m typically not into the whole “Post-Apocalyptic” (PA) “Science Fiction” (SF) genre. Usually they lean on the side of so ridiculously unbelievable and I’m more of a true crime, real life sort of person. I’m so happy I gave this collection a try though, because I quickly got hooked. The plot, trials and scenarios they encounter along the way, although PA, seems like something that could so easily happen especially in this day and age of technology and gaining hostilities between countries.
It kept me engaged and wanting to hear more throughout the entire collection. At the end, I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t more, but then after looking a bit deeper on the Audible site, I found that there are a BUNCH of additional books to this series. So I’m continuing on with them right now :^)
