I love the concept, I was so excited to hear this book. I love the characters- but I couldn’t finish it. I tried. I really tried. But the overly descriptive details of the dungeon monsters and encounters did me in. I’m not blaming the narrator – maybe it could have been read more slowly to let the descriptors sink in- but probably just the massive amount of words that went in to describing the features of these monsters and … I don’t know. It wasn’t as fun as I had hoped.
