Interesting world build, moderately interesting storyline. Male narrator is quite good. Female doing the teenager’s voice was unfortunate. She gave her a screechy, whiny voice that remained annoying throughout the entire book. I find I can often adjust to a voice that is not appealing to me as I grow accustomed to it over the course of the book. Not this time. Additionally the emotional range for both the male and female protagonists were on the limited side.
